Blended
from vineyards in Carneros and Dry Creek Valley this Chardonnay was
100% barrel fermented in French cooperage, 40% new. Malolactic
fermentation. Pear, apple, with a hint of mango and orange blossoms
offer a panoply of fruit flavors. Hazelnut and creamy oak add harmony.
Limestone base and balanced acidity give this wine depth behind the
pleasing crisp but full body. Petrale sole with a lemon cream sauce, or simply lobster with clarified drawn butter. First tee. New golf acquaintances. 250 off the blocks down the middle with a slight draw. Alcohol 13.9% by volume
